GRASSROOTS ORGANIZING AND THE PEOPLE'S PANDEMIC PREVENTION PLAN

“Historically, pandemics have forced humans to break with the past and imagine their world anew. This one is no different. It is a portal, a gateway between one world and the next.” —Arundhati Roy
Join us to learn about national grassroots efforts to promote a bold new comprehensive pandemic prevention initiative: one that stops this outbreak, supports a just recovery, and takes the international action necessary to stop future pandemics from happening. We will be discussing policy proposals developed and supported by health workers and global health experts across the country and exploring tactics, ranging from personal narrative to creative action, for pushing forward this bold new agenda for a better pandemic response and ultimately, a more just and equitable healthcare system.
